Tässä Magic Circle Festival 2014 kartta. Sisääntulo Sörnäisten rantatieltä Parrukatua pitkin alueelle kääntymällä ABC:n huoltoaseman kohdalta parrukadulle.
Festarialueella on vielä rajoitetusti festarilippuja ja jatkolippuja myynnissä sekä perjantaina että lauantaina. Perjantaina on myös mahdollisuus päivittää normilippuja Ultimate Fan Ticketteihin. Sekä jatkoilta, että etkoilta lippuja saa myös tapahtumapaikkojen ovilta.

Hevilegenda Manowar tuo jättimäisen Magic Circle Festivalinsa Suomeen kesällä 2014. Kyseessä on bändin itsensä lanseeraama festivaali, joka on aiemmin nähty vain Keski-Euroopassa. Magic Circle Festival järjestetään Helsingin Suvilahdessa 25.-26. heinäkuuta. Kyseessä on samalla Manowarin ainoa esiintyminen Pohjoismaissa kesällä 2014.
Manowarin levyjä on myyty ympäri maailman yhteensä yli kymmenen miljoonaa kappaletta. Yhtyeen musiikki käsittelee historiallisia teemoja ja soturimytologiaa. Manowar on ottanut myös paljon visuaalisia vaikutteita viikingeistä, keskiajan ritarikulttuurista ja antiikin tarustoista. Yhtyeen nykykokoonpanossa vaikuttavat Eric Adams (laulu), Karl Logan (kitara), Joey DeMaio (Basso) ja Donnie Hamzik (rummut).

* LIPUT JA RANNEKKEET
Muista pitää huolta lipustasi, sillä RL Concerts ei korvaa kadonnutta lippua tai lunasta ostettuja lippuja takaisin. Lippu toimii tulostettuna tai sen voi näyttää älypuhelimen näytöltä tarkistuspisteellä. Kaikki liput tarkistetaan elektronisesti ja tulostusjäljen on oltava lukemiskelpoinen. Lippu oikeuttaa vain yhteen sisäänpääsyyn tai festivaalirannekkeeseen per asiakas. Festivaalirannekkeella voi poistua alueelta ja tulla takaisin. Omien juomien tuominen alueelle on kielletty. Kaikki reput ja kasit tarkastetaan sisääntuloporteilla ja kaikki juomat poistetaan. Vettä ja virvoitusjuomia on myynnissä festivaalialueilla. Alkoholia myydään erikseen rajatuilla anniskelualueilla. Anniskelualueen ikäraja on 18-vuotta. Ikä tarkastetaan henkilöllisyystodistuksesta anniskelualueiden porteilla.
* KULKUYHTEYDET
Suosittelemme tulemaan festivaalialueelle julkisella kulkuvälineellä (linja-auto, metro, ratikka), pyörällä, kävellen tai taksilla. Alueen yhteydessä on erillinen pyöräparkki. Autoille EI ole parkkipaikkoja. Suosittelemme alueelle saapumista ajoissa, sillä portilla saattaa esiintyä ruuhkaa. * KUVAAMINEN MAGIC CIRCLE FESTIVALILLA
Kuvaaminen on sallittu ainoastaan kännyköillä tai taskukameroilla. Muut suuremmat kamerat tai videolaitteet takavarikoidaan turvatarkastuksen yhteydessä ja niiden tuominen alueelle on kielletty.
* RUOKAILU
Alueella on myynnissä festariruokaa läpi tapahtuman.
* OMAN RUOAN TUOMINEN
Alueelle voi tuoda omaa ruokaa tai lääkkeitä pieninä annoksina jos siihen on terveydellinen syy. Terveydellisistä syistä ruokaa tai lääkkeitä tuovien tulee kuitenkin varautua näyttämään lääkärintoditusta porttihenkilökunnalle.

Manowar -yhtyeen lanseeraama Magic Circle Festival laajentaa esiintyjäkattaustaan
ja 26.7 festarilavalla nähdään myös legendaarinen suomalainen heavy-yhtye Teräsbetoni,
joka tekee ainutlaatuisen come back -keikan festivaalin yhteydessä.
Teräsbetonin vokalisti-basisti J.Ahola kommentoi: ”Vaikka Teräsbetonin ei pitänyt tänä vuonna aktivoitua, emme voineet kuin teroittaa kirveet ja kaivaa nahkapanssarit etuajassa esille saadessamme kutsun Manowarin Magic Circle -festivaalin artistikattaukseen. Manowar on yksi kovimmista heavy metal -bändeistä ikinä ja eräs syy siihen, että ylipäätään halusin muusikoksi. Illasta tulee varmasti ikimuistoinen. Tervehdys ja tappo!”
”On mykistävä kunnia saada esiintyä näiden ikonien kanssa samalle yleisölle. Olemme ylpeitä, ettei työmme ole jäänyt Manowarilta huomaamatta ja tulemme lunastamaan meihin kohdistuvat odotukset – yhdessä festivaalien soturijoukon kanssa!”, jatkaa Järvinen.
Muina julkistuksina Magic Circle Festivalilla nähdään Imperia ja Hostile -yhtyeet. Sinfonista metallia soittava Hollantilainen Imperia on nähty aiemminkin Suomessa Tuska Festivaalilla vuonna 2007. Britanniasta kotoisin olevan raskaan metallin yhtye Hostilen riveissä nähdään myös Judas Priest -yhtyeestä tutun Ian Hillin poika Alex Hill.
Manowar tuo Helsingin Magic Circle Festivaalille mukanaan oman tuotantonsa ja mittavat lavastuksensa, joihin on perinteisesti kuulunut monenlaista soturihenkistä rekvisiittaa. Magic Circle Festivalissa on pääosassa musiikki, mutta siellä järjestetään myös monenlaisia aktiviteetteja tapahtuman yleisölle. Aiemmilla festivaaleilla on nähty mm. Manowar-museo, eukonkantoa sekä oluenjuontikilpailuja. Manowarin keulakuva Joey DeMaio hehkuttaa, että Magic Circle Festival tarjoaa ainutkertaisen festarikokemuksen ja on samalla puitteiltaan sekä tuotannoltaan yksi kaikkien aikojen näyttävimmistä heavy konsepteista.
Edellisen kerran Manowar vieraili Suomessa viime keväänä, jolloin Helsingin The Circuksen ja Tampereen Pakkahuoneen konsertit myytiin loppuun ennätysajassa. Magic Circle Festival järjestetään Helsingin Suvilahdessa 25.–26. heinäkuuta ja kyseessä on samalla Manowarin ainoa esiintyminen Pohjoismaissa ensi kesänä. Teräsbetoni to perform on the Magic Circle Festival of Manowar in Suvilahti, Helsinki, Finland!
Magic Circle Festival launched by Manowar adds more performers. On 26 July also the legendary Finnish heavy band Teräsbetoni will step onto the podium for a unique come back gig during the festival.
J. Ahola, the singer/bass player of Teräsbetoni says: ”Although Teräsbetoni was not supposed to perform this year, we had no option but to sharpen our axes and pull out the leather harnesses earlier than planned, when our band was invited to join the Magic Circle Festival of Manowar. Manowar is one of the hardest heavy metal bands of all time, and one of the reasons I wanted to be a musician at all. The evening will definitely be one to remember forever. Hail and Kill!”
”It is an amazing honour to be invited to perform to the same audience as these icons. We are proud that our work has been noticed by Manowar and we will fulfill all expectations – together with the warriors in the audience!” Järvinen continues the thoughts of Ahola.
Other additions to the line up for the Magic Circle Festival are the bands Imperia and Hostile. Imperia, a Dutch symphonic metal band, has appeared in Finland in 2007 Tuska Festival. Hostile is a heavy metal band from the UK and it has Alex Hill, the son of Ian Hill of Judas Priest, in its line-up.
Manowar brings its own production and impressive stage, which traditionally includes different warrior minded props to the Magic Circle Festival in Helsinki. Music has the main role in the Magic Circle Festival, but there are also a lot of different activities for the fans. Earlier festivals have had a Manowar museum, wife carrying and beer drinking contests, to name but a few. According to Joey DeMaio, the front man of Manowar, Magic Circle Festival is an unforgettable festival experience boasting one of the most imposing heavy concepts with the present stage production.
The previous Manowar gigs in Finland took place in the spring of 2012, then the gigs in Helsinki (The Circus) and Tampere (Pakkahuone) were sold out in record time. Magic Circle Festival will be organized in Suvilahti, Helsinki on 25 and 26 July. It is the only show by Manowar in the Nordic countries next summer. The tickets start from 75 euro, fees of Tiketti and Lippupiste are added to that.

*TICKETS AND WRISTBANDS
-Please take good care of your ticket. RL Concerts, the organizer, doesn’t cover your lost ticket or give refund for it. You can either print your ticket, show your ticket-outlet-printed ticket, or show your digital ticket (PDF) from your smartphone. Tickets will be scanned electronically, for which reason the bar code must be readable. You can enter only once with a single ticket, do not leave the festival area. Ultimate Fan Ticket holders will be provided with a wristband which gives the possibility of leaving and re-entering the festival area. Official tickets are on sale at www.rle.fi, www.lippupalvelu.fi, www.lippu.fi and www.tiketti.fi
*CAN I PAY WITH A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD?
-Most credit and debit cards will be accepted at most of the booths/stalls/bars/etc., but not at every single of them. Take cash with you! It also makes things quicker.

*DRINKS
-It is forbidden to bring your own drinks to the festival. All bags will be checked at the entrances and all drinks will be taken away. Water and freshments will be sold at the festival. Alcohol will be sold at specific areas at the festival (in Finland festivals, concerts, and so forth have to have isolated, fenced areas for alcohol, which are restricted from persons under 18 years old). Your age will be checked when you enter an area where alcohol is sold.
*TRANSPORTATION
-We highly recommend you to arrive to the festival by public transportation (either bus, metro, or tram), bicycle, foot, or cab. There is an area for bicycles at the festival grounds. -MCF doesn’t have a camping area. You can stay at a hotel/hostel/etc. in Helsinki.

-You can take photos with smartphone cameras and basic pocket cameras. All professional (say, big) cameras are prohibited, and they will be taken away at the entrance.
*EATING
-You can buy many kinds of food at the festival area.
*BRINGING YOUR OWN FOOD
-You can bring little amounts of food and medicine to the festival area if you have a medical reason for it. If you have a medical reason to have food and medicine with you, be prepared to show a medical certificate from a doctor for it.
MANOWAR Announce First Outdoor Festival Date Of 2014
MANOWAR have announced their headlining performance at MAGIC CIRCLE FESTIVAL 2014 held on July 25 and 26, 2014 at Suvilahti Open Air in Helsinki, Finland.
This will be the first MAGIC CIRCLE FESTIVAL in Finland ever.
Celebrating MANOWAR’s worldwide metal community, the festival is hosted by different countries and has previously taken place in Germany and Slovenia, where it was attended by metal fans from more than 35 nations.
“We are very excited to bring the MAGIC CIRCLE FESTIVAL for the first time ever to Finland”, said promoter Hardi Loog. “We are going to have a fantastic festival, with MANOWAR headlining with their special Kings Of Metal 2014 anniversary show, plus more bands and lots of other entertainment for an unforgettable metal experience!”
In their headlining anniversary show MANOWAR will perform the entire “Kings Of Metal MMXIV” album, a brand new special version of their hit album, ”Kings Of Metal” that will be released in spring, along with a ”best of” set of other immortal metal hymns in a completely new stage production.
”We are calling all Finnish Manowarriors to get ready to join us for the biggest Metal show of 2014!” announced MANOWAR bassist Joey DeMaio. “And we are calling the Manowarriors from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, England, Germany, and from every metal country in the world to get their asses to Helsinki next summer. Here’s the Magic Circle Festival 2014 map. You can find the festival gate by turning to Parrukatu street from Sörnäisten rantatie street. Take the turn to Parrukatu when you see a fueling station called ABC.
There is a limited amount of tickets on sale at the festival gate. You can also buy upgrade to your regular festival ticket to Ultimate Fan Ticket on Friday at the festival gate. Some tickets for pre-party and after party will be also on sale at the after party venues.
Magic Circle Festival 2014 Finland will be held at Suvilahti in Helsinki, Finland. Suvilahti is kind of an industrial area with many possibilitites for different kinds of events. Suvilahti is 10 minutes away from central station by metro. The biggest heavy metal festival in Finland, Tuska Open Air, was held in Suvilahti in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
